Excuse Me Sir, I'm Lost, I'm Looking For A Place Where I Can Get Lost

this past weekend was my three-day jaunt to Western Denmark
the cities of Arhus and Odense
I took almost 200 pictures so get ready for the onslaught
but I'm breaking them up three posts-three days
so you'll get a better picture (ha) of the actual experience.
Here's the first day.


we woke up very early
i like albertslund station in the snow and that's my train coming into the station

then we drove in a bus through this all day.

You can't see it in this picture but there is the gaping expanse of "the great belt"

the body of water that divides Denmark's islands,

and the view is actually jaw-dropping in its immensity and emptiness.

but you can't see that.
