my first snow in Copenhagen

ducks on the canal outside my door

from left to right: library, town hall, kollegium buildings, ducks, ice

swimming in the canal is forbidden... i have learned Danish.

sculpture garden in the kollegium (IN the kollegium)

and the sculpture that is the centerpiece of the canal

So I wanted to do a "this is the way I walk to school" post because Amanda did and I do it so often, but I was headed into the city with Filippos to meet Laura and go to Ikea with DIS so its more like a meander around the general area which I actually prefer. This is the tunnel into the train-station.

fart does not mean "fart" in danish.

the smoke-stacks and the train stations

a reasonable body of water between DIS and the Ikea

post-Ikea. This is the square right next to the buildings I have clas s in. A nice space for lunch, and ridiculous at 2 on a friday night.

the fore-boding gates of DIS

corners around and between DIS and Vesterport, my favored train station

watch out Risa
also I have to see this everyday

the corner of the main square before DIS

the spot where I catch the night-bus

the building of the biggest newspaper in Denmark, whose business editor happens to also be my professor...

the light at this corner takes forever

how European is this club

the view from land-side Vesterbro Station

hot-dogs the Copenhagen way

under-side Vesterbro station

this is a better view of "The Palace" which appears to be a brightly lit and painted building in the exact center of the city with a movie theater and a club in it

The movie's called "7 Pounds"....get it?

And thats my way home from School.

I actually called Johnny over to laugh at the "i fart" photo before I even saw the "THIS IS FUCKING JOHNNY" one.
Even funnier because Johnny just farted after we... well... yeah.
