Fearless Vampire Killers

nat threw a whole bucket o' sunscreen on this morning
and then climbed to the top of that mountain in the back
thats right, the top of that snowy one.
more of the view from the house

y mas
Monk, best dog ever
y mas
y man

this is Nat at the top of the mountain but you can't really see him. he's to the immediate right of the little bump on top, which is apparently like a ten-foot tall rock tower or something.
crazyness.
on our way out of the neighbor hood to Reno
around the mountainside
mas view
i like this one with the blue
these next few are obvious mini-van window shots

the view from the parking garage...not the most uplifting city in the world.
the infamous sign in the daytime
hahaha...literally: "the national bowling stadium"
sorry if you like bowling alot or something but...c'mon.
stupid public art
the worst casino ever...we did a lap and it sucked
cash in your whole paycheck? sob.

another bad one
minivan raised up like the A-Team's
classic cars caged

we made a nice long pit stop at the most hugely-stocked junk/thrift/treasure store
vintage wienermobile toy...awesome

sweet black dish set
they had cases and cases of these strange green dishes...I want a set. how macabre.

I lusted after this.

I'm beginning to notice a taste for old mickey memorabilia. I like the colors, I guess.
sweet fez, man
"the flippity flop young man" posted in the bathroom.
vintage batmobile toy
the sweetest thing ever... Fozzie the bear handpuppet.
more mickey
furs and animal bones

will almost bought this for him
"Elvis...was a hero to most..." -Chuck D.
i like finding old racist memorabilia in pawn/junk shops, it reminds me of that scene in Spike Lee's "Bamboozled" where they show all the racist toys.
seriously one of my favorite pictures i've taken...toys mysteriously trapped in the floor
kinda creepy, not gonna lie.

I like funny signs
and miniature banjos
odd colored bricks
the emerald city...this is some casino, we stepped into all of them. (I won 28 bucks, suckas.)

still, mostly a depressing town. on par with that place in Delaware we went that time...anyone in TWA remember that?

still it was a total blast. I took the money we won and we hit up the buffet in the El Dorado, hardcore.
stranger in a strange land
thats all it is, the whole city. flashing and blinking lights, attracting the simplest.
I think that pretty much says it all

I just can't believe that you came all the way out to California on a spontaneous trip and didn't swing down to LA to see me!
